Bar staff - Hospitality

You’re the person who makes Mockingbird run — front desk, bar, facilities and events. Every interaction shapes how people experience the clubhouse.

The role

Joining our team, you’ll be at the heart of what we do — welcoming members and their guests, pulling espresso behind the bar, keeping the space looking great, and making sure everyone feels at home whether they’re booking a coaching session, grabbing a coffee, or settling in for an evening with friends.

The role moves between multiple duties: front desk, F&B service, facilities management and event support. No two days are the same.

What you’ll do

Guest services & front desk

• Greet members, guests and visitors — you set the tone
• Manage check-ins, memberships and visitor registration
• Handle calls and emails for bookings, coaching sessions and rentals

Food & beverage

• Prepare speciality coffees, teas and smoothies
• Pull drinks and prepare light snacks and appetisers
• Track inventory and keep the bar stocked and clean

Facilities & operations

• Open and close the venue safely — lights, systems, cash, security
• Keep the clubhouse tidy and inviting throughout the day
• Support event setup and breakdowns

What we’re after

• Friendly, personable and genuinely interested in hospitality
• Reliable and self-motivated — you work with minimal supervision
• Comfortable multitasking across customer service, F&B and operations
• Experience in hospitality, clubhouse, bar or similar customer-facing environments (we can train specific F&B skills)
• Positive attitude and flexibility — this role adapts to what Mockingbird needs on any given day
• Willingness to be part of how we build community

Mockingbird London is East London’s newest riverfront indoor golf club with Thames views, indoor simulators, all-day food, drinks and a vibrant community atmosphere. We’re launching a brand-new venue designed for golfers of all levels — from complete beginners to experienced players — a space where golfers and non-golfers come to swing, socialise and unwind on their terms. Our members include East London professionals, locals, families with young juniors and golf enthusiasts who value high-quality instruction and a social clubhouse environment.
